Good morning. Gentle rain is falling in Newcastle this morning and today on the show:
  • 09.15am: Stan Sykes runs through what's available at The Annual Newcastle CD & Record Fair - it's on this Sunday (May 4th) 9am-4pm at the Uniting Church Hall, Hamilton
  • 10.45am: Garry Haigh discusses a fundraising for the Hunter Medical Research Institute. This Saturday night (May 3rd) from 7pm at Maitland Town Hall there's a Rock 'N' Roll Swing Supper Dance with a Masquerade Theme, 10-Piece Band The Jive Bombers and MC DJ Vinnie
  • 11.15am: Jenny Barrie has news of the Belmont Healthy Lifestyle Expo being held at Belmont 16 Footers on Thursday May 1st from 10am
  • 11.35am: Associate Professor Deb Loxton, from the University of Newcastle's Faculty of Health & Medicine. Last year more than 17,000 females aged 18-23 signed up to a medical study that will track them over their lifetime. The national project will help set future healthcare policy and it hopes to reveal details that social media and bullying may affect the mental health of Gen Y females
