Good morning. Today on the show:
  • 09.35am: Prof. Clare Collins tells us about Tameka Rae Small, a final year Dietetic student at the University of Newcastle who graduates this week and clarifies the current confusion over cholesterol and saturated fat
  • 10.45am: Wyn Jones, Associate Lecturer at the University Of Newcastle shares information about the annual exhibition showcasing the innovative projects of the final-year Industrial Design students
  • 11.15am: Prof. David Perkins, scheduled to give the New Professors Talk, tells us about his topic 21st Century Rural Health services fit for Purpose? Prof. Perkins says existing health policy, education and services for rural Australians are based on an outdated model of care. His talk at Newcastle Museum, Honeysuckle, is on Wednesday 25 November, 6.30pm
  • 11.35am: Prof. John O'Connor talks about nano diamonds. Diamond only a millionth of a millimetre in diameter can be used as a very accurate local measure of temperature and as a new measure of iron content in blood
